Dee's Cafe

Dee's is like an old friend you haven't seen in years. You two were great friends back when you were a bit wilder, crazier, poorer and more care-free. Of course, as things always do, a lot has changed over the years. You have probably gotten a decent job, a significant other, a car, maybe even a house.  Dee's however, has not changed. Not one bit. You almost feel a little guilty knowing how close you two were once, but you just don't see eye-to-eye anymore. While you enjoy the visit, and the nostalgia that it brings, you know things will never go back to the way they were.

Dee's is a great dive bar. It is huge; two floors of huge. It has lots of dilapidated booths, a long bar, tons of pool tables, darts, and a second bar upstairs.  Cheap beers and shots are served by the same exact people who were serving them 15 years ago. They have seen thousands of you come and go, and while they are happy you are drinking in their bar, they don't really want to be your friend.  Punk, hippie, hipster, goth, emo, geek, nerd; all counter-cultures are welcome at Dee's.  It is really a mixing pot for Pittsburgh's land of misfit toys.

We will always be happy to have a drink at Dee's, but we know it will never be what it once was to us. We had our time there and it was grand.
