This is one of those little dive bars that you have driven by a hundred times and probably never even noticed. It is on Butler Street, on the left if you are driving away from Pittsburgh, right before the road does that curvy thing on your way to Remedy, across from the cemetery entrance. We are hoping you will say, "Oh yeah! That place!" This is one of those bars that we go to so that you don't have to. You’re welcome.
So, what is Partners like? It's fine. We’ve heard that it’s a biker bar, and when we were there, there was someone that could have been a biker, but it really just seemed like any neighborhood bar in Pittsburgh. J is going to roll up some weekend night on her scooter and see if she can fit in with the bikers.
It was small but not claustrophobic; not too nasty with a decent sized bar and a nice bartender. They had good beer specials and $1.00 Jell-O shots Tuesday through Thursday. The pool table seemed to be getting some use. It was all very bar like. We had a serious conversation about important things here, so maybe it’s a good place for that kind of thing.
Chances are you'll never go there, but if you happen by it, don't be afraid. It is just a bar.
