Lot 17

Soooo, this is a bar...we guess. It is the most utterly boring bar we have ever been in, but we concede that it is still a bar. The energy in there was like being forced to watch Kristen Stewart watch paint dry while listening to Coldplay on repeat.

Now, to be fair, it is really nice there. Nice woodwork. Nice beer selection; actually, a really good beer selection. They have a big menu with good food and we both really enjoyed our meals. But geeeeezzzzzz...so...boring. Maybe it was the clientele (they were about a decade older than us and very vanilla). Maybe it was the bartender: equally vanilla, low-key and stand-offish. Maybe it is just Lot 17's purpose in life to be really-super-boring and attract boring people who want to have a boring time talking about boring things in a boring place. Those people deserve a bar, too. 

Needless to say, while we liked the food, we regretted ordering it. The act of ordering food required us to stay there longer.  So, if you live around there and you are looking to get some food, we could recommend eating there. We would just suggest you get it to go.
