Cupka's II

To save us time, sanity and to keep us from writing "this is a typical South Side bar" over and over, we're taking a different approach: haiku. Assume everything you know about the South Side to be true, our haiku will fill in the gaps.

boxing machine, baseball game
where is the first one?

  1. Cupka's is down by Southside Works on like... 27th&Jane. possibly the only remaining business from the days of J&L Steel. When Jerome Bettis fumbled at the goal line in the 2005 playoffs, a man at Cupka's had a heart attack and made the news. there was a very large card the entire neighborhood to sign there. an excellent example of a 1970s no-frills PGH neighborhood bar.
