Packs and Dogs

Packs and Dogs is the Mt. Washington version of D's Six Pax and Dogz. Except Packs and Dogs is bright. Super bright. Fluorescent lights only kind of bright.  Why would anyone put fluorescent lights in a bar?  Why?

It has a slightly sixties feel with red and white signage and sparkling cleanliness. They have a very impressive beer selection rivaled only by D's and Hough's. Their focus is more on bottles than drafts. They have an entire wall dedicated to refrigerated bottles and only eight draft beers. They made a very aesthetically pleasing beer wall behind the bar, see the instagram pic. On a side note, we have been thinking about a bar crawl instagram, thoughts?

The beers were much cheaper than we anticipated which seems to be true for most places in Mt. Washington. There was a couple watching the Bucs on TV and four guys planning what seemed to be a doomed business. Unlike all of our brilliant business ideas which have made us wildly successful.

We didn't try the dogs; we would like to think they are good.  We kind of liked it here.  Kind of.  It was really bright.

  1. Are they near a lot of businesses? Maybe they're a lunch-and-after-work-happy-hour kind of joint.

    1. They were significantly busier earlier in the night, so that could be.
